This is a Rory Gallagher Stratocaster, from 1977. The finish is the standard Mocha /Brown wood

stain finish. It is a rosewood neck non tremolo model, (also known as a Hard Tail). The pickguard has been replaced by Rory for a tortoise shell one. What is nice is that usually guitars especially Strats from this period were very heavy. This guitar is not. It is a joy to play. Although it is much later than Rory's NO.1, Stratocaster, it is still one of his and a fantastic guitar.
